Vehicle MET Technician at Halo ARC Bognor Regis. Salary: £54,600 per annum (hourly paid). Bonus: up to £4,200 per annum. Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings depending on business needs.

We are looking for a Vehicle MET Technician to join our Accident Repair Centre in Bognor Regis. You will be responsible for carefully restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring top-quality results that align with our insurers’ high standards. With a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of vehicle repairs, you will work efficiently in a modern fast-paced clean environment, collaborating as a team player and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
What you’ll be doing:
* Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
* Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts in vehicles.
* Confident in stripping and refitting all components of a vehicle.
* Proficient in using correct repair methods for EV and ADAS vehicles.
* Self-assess completed tasks to ensure proper fitment and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
* Regularly check all tools to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as an MET technician in an automotive repair environment.
* In-depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
* Strong understanding of ADAS systems.
* Knowledgeable in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles.
* Attentive and meticulous when handling mechanical and electrical repairs.
* Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to a high standard.
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
