What you’ll do
By joining the Group Insurance team within Vodafone Group Corporate Functions you will report to the Senior Group Insurance Manager and will support and provide insurance solutions to enable our global business and people to be an admired and innovative company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting the Group Insurance Team to provide effective and compliant insurance solutions across circa 20 different classes of corporate insurances in multiple different jurisdictions (taking ownership for specific classes according to experience).
• Annually gathering insurance exposure data from all Vodafone local markets and risk teams using risk management information tooling to identify and interpret risk trends and represent these to Vodafone’s insurance brokers and Maltese captive insurance team.
• Support the Senior Group Insurance Manager design and deliver a €multi-billion limit insurance programme ensuring effective balance sheet protection that strategically aligns with commercial and risk management aims.
• Advise on insurance clauses in supplier contracts.
• Innovate and maintain sharepoint sites with updated insurance documentation, policies and endorsements.
• Assisting with budgeting for premiums and fees, raising invoices and dealing with internal recharge queries.
• Developing, maintaining and leveraging strong internal relationships with business units and internal organisations.
• Claims notification and handling.
Who you are
Essential:
• Educated to degree level.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance or risk management or core insurance experience
• Knowledge of management of multinational insurance programmes.
• High level of IT skills, particularly Office365 and working knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems.
• Competence at interpreting insurance policies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to persuade and influence colleagues and build relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Team player with ability to work independently
Desirable:
• ACII qualified or working towards the Advanced Diploma in Insurance
