Horizons Residential Care is a well-established residential childcare provider based in the East Coast of Scotland and has been providing therapeutic residential childcare service since 2013. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the House Manager in the efficient running of the residential home. You will largely be responsible for assisting the House Manager in the efficient operational management of the house as well as providing excellent care to the children and young people.
Managing a team of staff and providing support to colleagues when necessary.
Assisting the House Manager in operational management.
Highlighting training needs, supervision, and rota management.
Undergoing an intensive programme of Induction and Training upon successful recruitment.
SVQ3 Children and Young People and HNC Health and Social Care.
Willingness to work towards an SVQ 4 and Leadership and Management.
Clean Driving Licence.
Relevant Experience in the Residential Childcare Sector in a supervisory role.
Working hours- You will be working 40 hours per week.
Passionate about working with young people and wanting to bring positive impact in the house.
Pay range and compensation package
Hourly Rate for Assistant Managers is in the range of £14.50 to £18.00.
