Sales Account Manager
An established Fastener Components Company seeking a commercially driven Customer Account Manager to support the Sales Director with organic company growth.
The role focuses on managing existing key accounts and developing client relationships, managing their components from purchasing through to despatch.
You'll act as the primary client contact, offering support, management, account planning, sales, quotations, building customer trust and relationships.
Responsibilities / Duties
· Answering telephone calls and other general office duties
· Managing enquiries – log and progress customer enquiries, obtain supplier costs, send quotations to customers.
· Purchasing activities – raise and send orders, manage acknowledgements, progress delivery dates.
· Sales activities – progress quotations, communicate with customers.
· Managing customer accounts – load orders and schedules, manage ins & outs of goods to meet customer demands
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and act as main point of contact for assigned accounts
Requirements
· Proven experience in Key Account Management
· Purchasing and sales experience with good financial understanding (an advantage)
· Good IT, written and verbal communication skills (MRP understanding advantages)
· Strong organisational, project and time management ability
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and confident working cross-functionally
Salary & Benefits
· £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary
· 20+ days annual leave + bank holidays

Hours of Work
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30
Friday 08:00 – 15:30
