Agricultural/Rural Property Lawyer 4+ PQE up to Partner
Taunton or Dorset based with flexibility
Build a leading agricultural practice with one of the South West’s top law firms.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious Agricultural & Rural Property Lawyer to join a firm with an outstanding regional reputation, a busy and established client base, and genuine long‑term growth plans already underway.
The firm is employee focused, to the extent they offer a firm‑wide profit share scheme. It is highly respected across the South West, investing heavily in the future of its rural offering.
This will suit someone who wants more than just a caseload — someone keen to help shape and grow an agricultural practice in Dorset or Somerset.
You will step into a strong flow of high‑quality transactional work from day one, advising on a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters, while also being given the autonomy and support to develop your own profile and client relationships.
The team will consider anyone 4+ PQE looking for a clearer progression path, or a more Senior Lawyer ready for leadership, or an existing Partner seeking a more entrepreneurial platform, the firm is open‑minded and flexible for the right individual.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll advise on a broad range of agricultural and rural property transactions for high end wealthy landowners, estates, farming businesses, and rural clients across the region.
The work is varied, high‑quality, and commercially focused, with plenty of opportunity to become a key figure within the wider rural practice.
Alongside handling a busy caseload, you’ll have the chance to play a meaningful role in the continued growth and development of the team in your chosen location.
What you’ll need
* 4+ years’ PQE in agricultural/rural property or commercial property with rural exposure.
* Strong transactional experience and a commercial and relationship‑led approach.
* Ambition to progress and help grow a practice; interest in being part of a collaborative and growing employee‑owned firm.
