EduTalent Group are hiring for a One to One Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school located near Hastings. This setting supports pupils aged 7 to 16 with a range of complex needs, focusing on engagement, personal development and positive learning outcomes within a structured and supportive environment. The role involves working closely with individual pupils or small groups, helping to build confidence, encourage progress and support both academic and emotional development.
Requirements
* A strong basic education, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (Coaching, Mentorship, Support Positions)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
* Confidence to lead on a specialist area such as Reading, Mathematics or outdoor learning
* Experience with behaviour management strategies and techniques
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
