We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
* Support the kitchen team in various tasks including cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes.
* Help with catering events as required, ensuring all food is prepared and served to the highest quality.
* Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
* A genuine passion for food preparation and catering services.
