Global Enterprise Organisation | Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid (London / Nottingham 1 day p/w) | Rate DOE


We are supporting a global enterprise organisation undergoing a large-scale technology transformation and are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join an established programme team.


This is a hands-on PMO leadership role supporting a complex, multi-workstream transformation focused on technology standardisation, governance and operational efficiency across multiple regions and business units.

You'll be responsible for governance, executive reporting, delivery assurance and stakeholder management across a defined portfolio of workstreams, partnering closely with senior programme leadership and executive stakeholders.

This is not a Programme Manager position. We're looking for someone who has operated as a PMO Manager or PMO Lead within complex, enterprise-scale environments and can add value from day one.


Responsibilities

  • Own governance, reporting and delivery assurance across a portfolio of technology workstreams
  • Lead governance forums, portfolio reviews and stakeholder updates
  • Produce high-quality executive reporting, dashboards and status updates
  • Drive RAID management, dependency tracking and milestone oversight
  • Ensure programme controls, standards and governance processes are consistently applied
  • Partner with Programme Directors, technology leaders and senior business stakeholders
  • Support resource planning, business case documentation and programme operations
  • Facilitate alignment across multiple teams, regions and business units
  • Provide insight and challenge to delivery teams to improve transparency and performance


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager, Senior PMO Manager or PMO Lead
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating at PMO Manager / Lead level
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation programmes
  • Strong programme governance, controls and delivery assurance experience
  • Extensive executive reporting and senior stakeholder management experience
  • Strong RAID management, planning and dependency management skills
  • Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Ability to operate independently within complex, matrixed organisations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable Experience

  • Technology standardisation or tool rationalisation programmes
  • Global transformation programmes spanning multiple regions and business units
  • Enterprise technology, infrastructure, security or development tooling programmes
  • ServiceNow, Jira, Clarity, Planview, Power BI or similar PPM tools
  • Experience working within regulated environments
