Internal Sales Engineer Technology / Engineering

Salary: £28,000 £35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Role
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will support customers with technical enquiries, quotations and product selection while working closely with external sales and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels
* Provide technical advice, product selection and quotations
* Support the sales process from enquiry through to order
* Build long-term customer relationships and identify new opportunities
* Liaise with engineering, production and logistics teams
* Maintain CRM records and manage sales administration
Requirements – Essential
* Engineering, technical or scientific qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Physics, etc.)
* Strong communication and customer-facing skills
* Commercial awareness or interest in technical sales
* Organised, proactive and team-focused mindset
Desirable
* Experience in internal sales, applications engineering or customer support
* Knowledge of engineering products, components or systems
* CRM or quotation system experience
