Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The engineer will collaborate with Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments, as well as external clients such as distributors, system integrators, installers, and end-users, to enhance business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Promote products pre-sales, introduce new features to channel customers, assist in product selection, and support sales targets.
* Define and manage product roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
* Provide technical training to channel customers’ engineers to improve their technical knowledge.
* Gather product feedback from customers to improve technology processes and communicate changes to the product manager.
* Assist customers with tender documents and participate in promotional activities like trade shows and open days.
* Offer technical support on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with R&D and third-party integrations.
* Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
Key Attributes:
* Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, network, and industrial drones.
* Ability to work independently and set strategic directions.
* Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in.
* Proficient in analyzing data to inform decisions.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Quick learner of new technologies.
