Are you looking for a new role?
We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to work in one of our busy Care Homes in Sandbach.
You will be responsible for all meals served at the home and ensure that they are all served in a timely manner enabling all residents to dine at the same time.
Planning menus to provide a varied nutritionally balanced diet and ensuring that all dietary requirements are met. Maintaining an awareness of individual residents risks assessments relating to specific catering support needs, for example choking.
Ensuring that foodstuffs are stored correctly and regularly checked for freshness.
You will need:-
1. Level 3 in food Hygiene (and additional HACCP Accreditation) or a level 4 food hygiene certificate
2. Have experience in working in a kitchen environment
3. To have good written and verbal communication skills
4. To work flexibly within rostered hours
5. To be a good team player
