We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join a Strategic Finance function and play a key role in valuation, forecasting, and financial modelling. Reporting to senior leadership, you will support the quarterly group valuation process, maintain and enhance valuation models, and develop the data infrastructure that underpins reporting and decision-making.
This role combines advanced financial modelling with hands-on experience in data management and automation. You will help improve Excel and Python-based models, create new data interfaces, and build tools that adapt to evolving business needs. Your insights will directly support strategic decision-making by senior management and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead elements of the quarterly valuation and NAV reporting process.
* Maintain, improve, and automate financial models and reporting systems (Excel, VBA, Python, SQL).
* Develop new data interfaces and analytical tools to improve accessibility and accuracy of financial information.
* Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-term growth forecasting to assess impacts on company valuation.
* Prepare high-quality valuation reports, presentations, and supporting materials for senior stakeholders, including leadership teams and boards.
* Support both quarterly and ad-hoc reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains within financial reporting and forecasting.
Skills & Experience
* Advanced Excel skills, including VBA for automation.
* Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis, particularly in portfolio performance reporting.
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with an understanding of software engineering best practices.
* Solid knowledge of the infrastructure or energy sectors (renewable energy experience is a plus).
* Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, introduce automation, and deliver effective change management.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
