Summary
Working alongside a supervisor to learn daily tasks while attending college to build skills to support your development for a long-term career. You’ll be exposed to various manufacturing equipment, customers, and work in locations from remote sites to city centre projects. This role is field-based across Yorkshire.
Wage
£17,472 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
* Conduct and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of security perimeter equipment (Automatic Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Blockers, Bollards and Automatic Doors at customer sites
* Complete reactive call outs supervised within a SLA timeframe (4, 8 and 24 hour response times)
* Carry out PPM works supervised on electrical and mechanical products within our industry
* Field work and travel with supervisor within the northern areas covering, Northwest area
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime
* Prepare and work with supervisor on detailed service reports and documentation after each visit
* Collaborate and work closely on the day to day with the engineering supervisor to improve service processes and product performance
* Maintain an organised inventory of tools and parts necessary for service tasks
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations, Complete various industry courses DHF, ADSA to comply with all products
* Learn in house products within our manufacturing facility to from mechanics to automation of the products
