Overview
Medivet Epsom Fir Tree is a well-established practice that provides a wide range of services. It is supported by our 24-hour hospital in Sutton and a network of neighbouring Medivet practices. We are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team. Alternatively, we would consider an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to step into a leadership role, shaping the future of the practice, coaching and supporting colleagues, and inspiring the team to thrive. In this role, you’ll be working alongside Ejaz, our incredibly supportive and highly experienced Branch Partner for our Epsom Fir Tree and Epsom Pound Lane practices. The practice is equipped with an x-ray machine, dental X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house lab.
The working pattern is 4 days per week plus 1 in 6 weekends at Medivet Sutton; flexible working may be considered for this role. The practice is conveniently situated within a 10-minute walk from Epsom Downs train station, with access to local shops and amenities for lunch breaks.

Role Details
* Role type: Veterinary Surgeon or Lead Veterinary Surgeon (leadership candidate welcomed).
* Location: Epsom Fir Tree and related Medivet sites in the area.
* Working pattern: 4 days per week plus 1 in 6 weekends (flexible in some cases).
* Signing bonus: £5,000 for the successful candidate.

* Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
* Provide exceptional care to clients, with clear updates on patients.
* Maintain professional excellence with high standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
* Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
* Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing skills and applying them effectively.
* Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of patients needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Proactively share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills And Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Experience in delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.
* Experience working effectively as part of a team.
* Demonstrable clinical leadership skills.
* Experience in implementing a progressive clinical culture.
* Experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with understanding of impact on clinic performance.
* Experience using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of colleagues.
