Eastbourne (Full Time)
£32,916 - £45,352 Per annum (Paid to scale plus SEN allowance)
ASAP start – January 2026 (Permanent position)

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) class within a secondary-age setting. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, personalised learning experiences, working within a multidisciplinary team to support pupils’ communication, independence, and emotional regulation.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teacher you will:
5. Holds QTS or QTLS status
6. Have a genuine interest in special education and supporting learners with complex needs
7. Be creative, resilient and committed to inclusive teaching practices
8. Work effectively in partnership with colleagues, parents, carers and external professionals
9. Bring enthusiasm, empathy and a positive approach to every learning opportunity
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
