Transactional Finance Manager
Salary: up to circa £48,000
Location: Salford- with hybrid and flexible working
We are seeking an experienced and driven Transactional Finance Manager to join a well-established and values led organisation based in Salford.
Reporting to the senior finance leadership team, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day financial operations function. This is a hands on and varied role, offering the opportunity to manage a busy finance team while contributing to continuous improvement across systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the transactional finance team, overseeing purchase & sales ledger, credit control and cash & banking
* Manage financial administration activities across the organisation
* Oversee the outsourced payroll and pension services
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly close and reconciliations
* Support internal stakeholders with financial advice and insight
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance systems and processes
Key skills & attributes:
1. Professionally qualified (ACCA/ CIMA) or qualified by experience
2. Experienced in transactional finance management
3. A confident and hands on team leader, with prior management experience
