Role Details:
* Position: High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent appointment)
* Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with complex behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
* Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement behaviour management strategies.
* Delivering tailored interventions and supporting learning across the curriculum.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assisting in the development of individual education and behaviour plans.
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience supporting students with behavioural difficulties, preferably in an SEN setting.
* Strong behaviour management skills, patience, and resilience.
* A calm, empathetic approach to challenging situations.
* Team Teach training is highly desirable (or a willingness to undertake training).
