Group Manufacturing Director
Location: North East / Yorkshire (with c.20% UK travel)
Salary: Leadership / Executive level package
We are working on a confidential search for a Director of Manufacturing to join a growing manufacturing group operating across pharmaceutical and regulated packaging environments.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving operational excellence, people performance and cultural change across multiple sites.
The Role
* Provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across UK manufacturing operations
* Lead, develop and inspire senior site and functional leaders
* Drive change programmes, continuous improvement and operational maturity
* Own and deliver OPEX / CI strategy, embedding best practice and measurable results
* Create and sustain a high‑performance culture with strong engagement and accountability
* Ensure compliance within highly regulated manufacturing environments
* Partner closely with the executive team to deliver group objectives
The Person
* Proven senior manufacturing leader within pharmaceuticals, packaging or similarly regulated manufacturing
* Strong track record in people leadership, change management and transformation
* Demonstrable experience delivering operational excellence and performance improvement
* Commercially aware, data‑led and outcome focused
* Credible, visible leader with the ability to influence at all levels
* Comfortable operating across multiple sites with regular UK travel
* GMP / highly regulated manufacturing environments
