Arden Education provides teaching and non-teaching professionals into schools across the Midlands.
We are working with a unique, outstanding specialist setting in Loughborough, Leicestershire, supporting pupils with Autism.
This is a full-time Maths teaching position, Monday to Friday - Term time only.
The successful candidate will deliver small group sessions at a base specifically designed for a small group of 11-18-year-old students. This homely environment enables the base to nurture students and provide the best educational experience once they are emotionally engaged. Therefore, we need practitioners who can build trusting relationships, provide security to vulnerable learners, communicate clearly and confidently, and demonstrate resilience under pressure.
This setting supports a range of ASC pupils aged 11-19, aiming for each student to reach their full potential academically or vocationally. When students leave the provision at age 19, they have a clear pathway into independent living, as their abilities allow.
This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking and innovative group of schools, where two provisions have been rated as OFSTED Outstanding.
Required skills and qualifications:

* QTS
* Minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions
