Are you a proactive and motivated individual who enjoys a busy role with lots of variety? We are a small but fast-growing, sustainable business based in Small Dole. We're looking for a motivated individual for a key warehouse role, helping to keep our operations running smoothly through our busy 2026 season.
In this role, you'll take ownership of stock and production whist assembling, replenishing, picking, packing and dispatching customer orders. With a variety of tasks every day, your work will be essential in keeping our warehouse running in an organised and efficient manner.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, you should be comfortable working both on your own and as part of a small team. You should enjoy working in a warehouse and be comfortable decision making and communication within our small team.
Monday – 6 hrs (11 to 5pm), Tuesday to Friday - 4 hrs (1 to 5pm)
Some flexibility with these hours is possible for the right candidate.
This is a part time FTC position.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods accurately and efficiently
* Picking, packing and dispatching orders in a timely manner
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Product assembly, following a defined method
* Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
* Logging and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect stock
* Communication with office colleagues to ensure warehouse management systems are updated
* Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet pump truck)
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience of a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential
* Reliable with strong timekeeping and time management skills
* Demonstrates an enthusiastic & flexible approach
* Proactive in taking ownership and accountability for completing tasks
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Ability to undertake manual handling duties, including some heavy lifting
* Occasional shift flexibility during exceptionally busy periods
* Eligibility to work in the UK
