Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.
Role
* Service and maintain domestic gas appliances and heating systems within social housing properties.
* Conduct annual gas safety inspections and issue Gas Safety Certificates in line with regulatory requirements.
* Diagnose and repair faults in boilers, heating systems, pipework, and gas appliances.
* Ensure all gas work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Respond to emergency callouts related to gas leaks, appliance failures, or heating outages.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs using company systems.
* Communicate clearly with tenants regarding work being carried out and provide guidance on safe appliance use.
* Work collaboratively with housing officers, contractors, and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and servicing schedules.
* Identify opportunities for system improvements or energy efficiency upgrades within properties.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
The successful candidate will have
* Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
* OFTEC Quliaification
* Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)
* Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
* Experience delivering high levels of customer service
* The ability to work with a diverse customer base
