Rate of Pay: Pre-show £165/day, On-site £200/day + 3 meals/day

Role Overview
The Artist Accreditation Manager will oversee all artist ticketing requirements, working closely with the Music Office to ensure seamless delivery. Responsibilities include managing artist ticketing through Festival Pro and OurCrew, leading the accreditation operation on-site, overseeing accreditation and vehicle passes, preparing artist packs, and maintaining clear communication with gate teams and the wider Accreditation operation.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-event
* Implement a system for accrediting artists and guests.
* Liaise with the music department to allocate tickets and enter all tickets into the system.
* Set up paid guest ticket types and ensure distribution aligns with agreed allocations, in conjunction with the Head of Access and Offsite and Ticketing Manager.
* Ensure Festival Pro forms work correctly throughout accreditation and troubleshoot issues.
* Monitor tickets and vehicle passes, keeping Music Office and Head of Access updated to comply with licensing and internal limits.
* Prepare briefings for all Artist Accreditation staff with the Artist Gate Manager.
* Send tickets to artists and guests within two weeks of festival start.
On-site and Show Days
* Brief the Artist Accreditation team on ticketing and Festival Pro; collaborate with the Artist Gate Manager to train staff.
* Manage the team, ensure staff welfare, and liaise with the wider Music Office on staffing resources.
* Implement the audit system with Music Office and Artist Gate Manager.
* Manage issuance of personal and vehicle accreditation, ensuring correct allocation and logging.
* Coordinate preparation and distribution of artist packs, liaising with relevant managers.
* Oversee special care for Headline Artists and VIP Guests (extra care procedures).
* Liaise with internal and external artist transport teams, Artist Campsite Manager, and other gates as required.
* Troubleshoot issues on the Artist Gate and refer to Gates Control, Production Accreditation, Music Office or Event Control as appropriate.
* Respond to queries and anomalies on-site; liaise with other gates and accreditation teams.
* Share up-to-date information with Artist Accreditation staff.
Post event
* Ensure completion of ticketing system and supporting documents, sending copies to Music Office and Ops teams.
* Create feedback for Music Office and Ops teams.
* Conduct full debriefs with Music Office, Ops, and Production.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Proven experience in Accreditation, especially with artists or VIP services within festivals, venues, events, or hospitality.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple lists and priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
* Close attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Experience with accreditation systems or databases.
* Flexibility within daily hours, working with Artist Accreditation staff.
Desirable
* Experience at large-scale festivals or live events.
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
* Knowledge of Boomtown Festival operations or similar immersive events.
Personal Attributes
* Professional, approachable, and confident when dealing with high-profile individuals.
* Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
* This role requires on-site work during the festival, including long hours.
* Pre-show work can be within Boomtown HQ (preferred) with some remote work if needed.

Onsite Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation will be provided (type to be confirmed). Three meals per day will be provided in crew catering with all dietary requirements catered for.

Physical Description of Work
As an on-site festival role, physical activity such as bending, lifting, moving around the site is required. The festival takes place on a large, greenfield site, requiring the ability to move around independently and extensively.
