Position Description:
Join CGI as an Electrical Engineer.
You will be responsible for planned electrical maintenance of commercial buildings and data centres. You will also be required to carry small project and installation related works.
This is a mobile role, so you must be willing to travel between the locations on a weekly basis - a vehicle will be provided to facilitate this. Travel to other CGI offices may be required on an ad-hoc basis. The role will also require you to show willing to operate at unsociable times and participate in a 1 in 4 rota for on call support.
As you will be working on Commercial premises knowledge of the relevant H&S working practices is essential and you must be comfortable with working in a lively office environment, taking care to minimise disruption and impact on CGI staff.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Perform general electrical maintenance/ Reactive repair & installs, with a flexible approach to other minor works not within the electrical field. (Fabric / mechanical / carpentry).
• Install, maintain, modify, repair and troubleshoot / fault find in line with BS
• Management of documentation, service sheets etc: to be completed correctly and uploaded to CAFM system.
• Management of issued workload to match SLA compliance.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Good working knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Flexible approach to the job role and the business/projects working hours.
• Working knowledge and understanding of L8 duties
• Be able to work on own initiative with good time management.
• Available for overtime working.
• FULL Valid driving licence.
• Competent with PC use (Microsoft Office e.g. Excel and word).
