Operations & Marketing Co-ordinator

(with growth potential to Head of Department)

Location: Bristol (office-based ~70%, with some flexibility)

Hours: Starting part-time (~15 hrs/week), with potential to grow into full-time

Salary: £15–22/hr depending on experience, with scope to increase as the role grows

About Party Peeps

Party Peeps is the South Wests' most fun and energetic children's party company We deliver unforgettable themed parties, immersive experiences, and live entertainment for kids and families. We're a small but growing business with big ambitions and we're now looking for someone who can help us scale up, keep things running smoothly, and drive growth while bringing the same fun, vibrant energy we bring to every event.

The Role

We're looking for a highly organised, driven, and enthusiastic Operations & Marketing Co-ordinator to take charge of the day-to-day running of our party business. You'll make sure everything is in place from marketing and bookings to performers and kit so that our events are seamless and our team can focus on delivering the fun.

This role starts small (around 15 hrs/week) but has huge growth potential. If you're ambitious, love systems and organisation, and want to grow with a business, this is your chance to shape your future as well as ours. The bigger the results the sooner you can grow this role into something big.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

* Create a weekly/monthly social media schedules (guiding content focus, not designing posts).
* Liaise with venues, collaborators, content creators to build partnerships and referral schemes.
* Develop and promote new incentives (e.g. referral offers) to grow enquiries & bookings.
* Build and manage email & SMS databases, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Plan and run email/SMS campaigns to engage customers.
* Collect and organise photo/video content from events.

Operations

* Maintain systems for kit repairs, replacements, and stock levels.
* Create event booking briefs to ensure staff are fully prepared.
* Put processes in place so events are ready well in advance.

HR & Compliance

* Support performer recruitment: initial phone interviews, scheduling auditions & training (with a phased handover).
* Forecast recruitment needs and ensure the right people are always in place.
* Provide ongoing coaching and motivation to the performer team.
* Organise team get-togethers and incentives.
* Keep all staff paperwork, DBS checks, safeguarding, risk assessments, and insurance up to date.
* Review and improve compliance, safety, and security policies.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven ability to create efficient processes and improve operations.
* Strong people skills—confident mentoring and motivating others.
* Excellent time management and business acumen.
* Experience in helping a small business grow, even on tight budgets.

Desirable

* Experience growing or leading within a business of £500k–£1m turnover.
* Marketing campaign or CRM/database experience.
* Background in events, entertainment, hospitality, or other dynamic industries (but not essential).
