What Your Role will involve: To ensure departmental staffing levels are correct for all Conference & Banqueting activities, including daily C&B needs, weddings & events. Set staff rotas to ensure wage percentage targets as a percentage of C&B revenue are met. To ensure you maintain a visible presence at all times whilst on shift. To identify any areas of opportunity for increasing business turnover. Positively promote sales awareness within the C&B departments & maximise sales opportunities by upselling and maximising on special offers. To be fully conversant with fire, security and health & safety policies and procedures. To ensure cash handling and banking procedures are adhered to throughout the shift. Control stock level of products & consumables in line with budget and business needs, placing orders as necessary.
