Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Controller either part time or full time to oversee our workshop operations. The ideal candidate must possess a strong mechanical background and have good leadership abilities. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supervising a team while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
* Manage workshop staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
* Interpret schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly processes.
* Manage customer service interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Issuing invoices and sorting our relevant paperwork
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
Experience
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a workshop setting.
* Strong understanding of assembly processes and equipment repair techniques.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
