This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system.

We have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Dermatology Veterinary Technician, you will:
4. Communicate effectively with different people in high stress situations
5. Triage and obtain patient history
6. Perform venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters
7. Utilize Dermatology terms
8. Swab for Otic Cytology, and ear mite preparation
9. Prepare for Skin Biopsy
10. Recognize alopecia, nodules and tumors
11. Perform Anesthesia monitoring
12. Perform CPR
13. Perform radiographs
14. Perform diagnostic procedures and treatments
15. Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
16. Be familiar and proficient with aseptic techniques
17. Be familiar with laboratory procedures and practices
