About the Nursery: Offers care and education for children aged three months to five years. Located in two purpose-converted barns, the nursery has a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere to promote learning and enable children to reach their full potential. Benefitsfor a Deputy Nursery Manager: The role of a Deputy Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves: Deputising for the Manager in their absence Assisting with the day to day running of the Nursery Assisting with training and carrying out staff appraisals Keeping accurate records for both children and members of staff Leading daily and weekly meeting, alongside the management team Ensuring the Nursery is compliant with internal and external policies and procedures. Developing good relationships with the Nursery team and external agencies Ensuring the highest level of care is being delivered. Being responsible for several key children as when needed Ensuring there are good staffing levels and when needed assist with the recruitment process.
