Overview
Medivet is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (experienced or newly qualified) to join our friendly, supportive team at Medivet Brodie in Liverpool, England. You’ll be working alongside 3 vets, 1 RVN and 1 SVN in a busy, welcoming first opinion practice.
Responsibilities
* Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
* Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
* Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.
* Deliver patient monitoring and care.
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
* Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Dispense and check medications.
* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
* Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team for the most effective running of the practice.
Qualifications and Skills
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
* Team player with experience supporting nurse consults and contributing to practice performance and efficiency.
* Experience in coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of colleagues.
Role Details
Full-time, 4 days a week, 8:30am–7:00pm with 1 hour lunch. 1 in 8 weekends at Medivet Alder 24 Hour. Fair share of Bank holidays and on-call rota between RVNs in the region.
