Community Partnerships Coordinator (Urban Room / Public Map Platform)
Position at Wrexham University – 1.0 FTE, 37 hours per week, fixed-term 12 months.
Overview
The Faculty of Arts, Computing & Engineering at Wrexham University is seeking a Community Partnerships Coordinator to contribute to the development and implementation of an Urban Room for Wrexham as part of the Public Map Platform collaboration with Cambridge, Cardiff, and Bangor Universities. The role supports Phase 2 of the project, focusing on three high‑street based consultation spaces including the new Wrexham Room.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a partnerships network around the Urban Room, promoting good relations with partners.
* Support the Principal Investigator and act as first point of contact for queries to the Urban Room and Public Map Platform, including administration of the PMP inbox.
* Coordinate and oversee administration of the outreach programme, ensuring alignment with project deliverables, budget, and ethics.
* Plan and participate in publicity activities, project events, seminars, and dissemination of information via appropriate media.
* Assist in providing content for the project website and publicising events and activities.
Qualifications
* Minimum of an HND or Degree.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Understanding of project delivery and ability to coordinate diverse activities.
* Experience working with young people and promoting network development is desirable.
* Welsh language skills are desirable; bilingual applications are encouraged.
