Roles
* 1 x Senior School Maths TA — 25 Hours (5 Hrs per day, Mon–Fri)
* 1 x Senior School TA — 25 Hours (5 Hrs per day, Mon–Fri)
* 1 x Primary School TA — 14 Hours (3.5 Hrs per day over 4 mornings)
Salary: Pro rata of FTE £24,796 dependent on hours
Maths Teaching Assistant
The successful candidate will be based in the Senior phase of the school; however there may be opportunity to work across the school with Junior and Secondary aged children. The post requires the Teaching Assistant to work under the direction of the SEND Team and in line with the needs of the classroom teachers. Must hold a high level of Maths at GCSE or equivalent, ideally qualified to A Level.
Teaching Assistant (Senior) and (Primary)
(upon application please state whether applying for a primary or senior based role). The successful candidate will be based in either the Secondary or Primary phase of the school with opportunities to work across key stages. The post requires the Teaching Assistant to work under the direction of the Heads of the Primary phase and/or Senior Faculty and in line with the needs of the classroom teachers to:
* support the delivery of learning for each pupil to enable them to reach their potential, working with individual pupils or small groups or within a whole class setting to support high standards of teaching and learning and pupil progress;
* actively uphold the values and ethos of the school in all interactions with pupils and model the behaviours expected of pupils;
* respond to the specific learning needs of the pupil(s);
* be proactive in managing pupil behaviour and supervise pupils at lunch and break times as required.
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant (or teaching and learning) qualification is essential.
Qualifications in Maths and English are required and classroom experience in Supporting Maths and English is highly desirable.

Polam Hall School is a 4–16 years all-through academy and is part of Woodard Academies Trust. We were rated Good by Ofsted in October 2021 and strive to be Outstanding upon their return. We have 837 pupils on roll with 1.5 form entry in our Primary Phase; the secondary phase has increased to four forms of entry.
