To support our growth, we are looking to expand our team by recruiting ambitious, business-minded management accountants. About the job: As an ambitious Management Accountant, you’ll see this as your next step towards Finance Manager and beyond. Your duties could include: Producing monthly reporting packs that include, headlines P&L, balance sheet, aged debt analysis, historical cashflow analysis, cashflow forecast and client specific analysis Providing relevant commentary and variance analysis Operating as a finance business partner Providing commercial finance support to help clients achieve their business objectives Critically reviewing the P&L and balance sheet reports Communicating financial data to non-financial client contacts Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts Preparing audit schedules and assisting auditors during fieldwork Preparing, posting or reviewing month end journals Preparing the balance sheet reconciliations to support the trial balance Confirming and reconciling intercompany balances Managing the treatment of foreign currency in the accounts where required Preparing or reviewing cashflow forecasts Responsible for Treasury management and day to day cash management Preparing and electronic filing of the VAT return Managing virtual or direct teams to deliver excellent service to clients Continuously reviewing, evaluating and improving internal controls About you: Our ideal candidate will have strength and experience in most of these areas, but we’ll also consider those who show aptitude and potential. Recently qualified with ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA – this might be your first or second role post-qualification (we would also consider part qualified candidates) and this might be your first role out of practice A Graduate, result of 2:1 or above in any subject A solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controls Experience preparing monthly Management Accounts Highly presentable, numerate, confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills Strong systems user, including Excel Experience in practice or within the technology industry would be an advantage Ability to communicate, collaborate and work as part of a friendly and driven team We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experience levels, so even if you do not have all of the points listed above, we would still encourage you to apply.
