Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive diagnostic paediatric radiology service which includes general plain radiography, CT, ultrasound and MRI.
* Lead imaging in multidisciplinary meetings.
* Participate fully with the varied work of the department, including the dedicated on‑call rota overseen by a single consultant and supported by a senior registrar.
* Receive compensation for on‑call commitments that includes a single non‑working PA per week.
* Develop a subspecialty interest in collaboration with colleagues, with an emphasis on paediatric neuroradiology or paediatric interventional radiology as appropriate.
* Participate in training and quality improvement activities if appointed.
Qualifications
* Subspecialist training in paediatric radiology.
* Experience leading imaging in multidisciplinary meetings is essential.
* Experience with on‑call commitments and supporting a structured rota.
* Motivated, skilled and caring professional with a strong interest in paediatric radiology and its subspecialties.
