Seeking a reliable female self-employed carer to support my mum at home on weekday evenings. She is non-verbal after a stroke, calm, stable, and bed or chair bound. No medication support required. This is complex care, not standard home care.
Key tasks:
Safe feeding for dysphagia
Passive range of motion exercises
Positioning for spasticity and pressure care
Personal care and dressing
Pad changes
Hoist transfers between bed and chair
Completion of short evening care notes
About the role:
Palliative and supportive care
Structured routine and calm environment
Consistency is important
Can be shared between one or two carers
Schedule:
Evenings 6 to 9 pm Monday to Friday
Location Upton Pyne EX5
Requirements:
Experience in complex neuro or palliative care
Confident with hoist use and dysphagia safe feeding
Able to follow a written care plan
