This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role is based at a busy production site in Anwick, supporting the maintenance team to keep equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably.
You will be working on planned and reactive maintenance, machine fault finding, single and three-phase electrical systems, automated machinery, SAP-based PPMs and improvement activity focused on reducing downtime and improving OEE.

The role
As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will provide effective engineering support to production, responding quickly to plant stoppages, completing planned maintenance and helping improve equipment availability.
You will be responsible for fault finding, repairs, servicing and adjustment of equipment to ensure production targets, KPIs and OEE performance are achieved.
This is a practical, hands-on role where speed, safety, accuracy and ownership matter.
What youll be doing
* Responding quickly and safely to plant stoppages and breakdowns
* Providing electrical breakdown cover for production
* Fault finding and repairing machinery
* Working with single and three-phase electrical systems
* Completing planned maintenance and SAP maintenance records
* Helping improve equipment availability, performance and OEE
* Supporting machine improvements and modifications
* Working with visiting engineers and third-party support when needed
* Training and supporting operators, new starters and apprentices
* Following safe systems of work, including Lock Out / Tag Out
* Supporting energy reduction and environmental improvement activity
What were looking for
We are looking for an electrically qualified engineer who enjoys practical fault finding and keeping production moving.
You will ideally have:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, production, food processing or industrial environments
* Strong fault-finding ability on production machinery
* Experience with single and three-phase electrical systems
* Good understanding of planned maintenance and PPM systems
* Ability to work safely under pressure
* Good written and spoken English
* A proactive approach to quality, safety and machine performance
Useful experience
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
* Food production or food processing
* Poultry processing machinery
* Automated machinery
* PLC fault finding
* SCADA systems
* SAP maintenance systems
* 17th or 18th Edition
* Lean techniques
* Industrial maintenance environments
