Overview
We are recruiting an administrator to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday supporting our community mental health team based at the Chadwell Centre in Paignton.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to consultants, medical staff and clinical colleagues to facilitate patient care and smooth service operation.
* Produce reports, maintain filing systems, keep accurate records and record meeting minutes.
* Manage correspondence, type and process assessments, diary management, digital dictation and database entry.
* Serve as a front‑line contact for service users, families, carers, care homes and professional agencies, delivering non‑clinical information and advice when required.
* Handle sensitive information with strict adherence to data security and confidentiality procedures.
* Prioritise tasks, manage workload independently and support colleagues under pressure, often without direct supervision.
* Contribute to ensuring every patient receives high‑quality care as a valued member of the team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a minimum level 2 standard in Word and Excel.
* Strong typing and processing abilities; familiarity with digital dictation and database systems is desirable.
* Knowledge of data security best practices.
