What you'll be doing
?
1. Progress provide/alter/cease tasks using the different tools and systems in order that the unit’s targets for Right First Time (RFT), Cycle Time (CT), On Time Delivery (OTD) and KPI’s are met.
2. Ensure the most cost-effective manner, optimising existing assets and capacity, with resilient, reliable, fit for purpose designs & routings.
3. Utilise time to support others within alternative workstreams but also manage workloads and seek support where needed.
4. Collaborate well with peers and wider teams. All interactions to be completed in a professional way to follow the BT values.
5. Maintain professional relationships with key customers and suppliers to provide best service possible.
6. Demonstrate good levels of Ownership, productivity and problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
7. Champion the use of automated tools, continually improving these automated tools and reducing the amount of fall outs and manual touch time.
8. To actively own and drive CI items so that improvements for customers can be identified and delivered.
9. Own the delivery management element on all jobs planned, ensuring that engineering activities are actioned as soon as they are fully fluid.
10. Manage own development, upskilling & multiskilling proactively in line with unit strategy
