Job Description
My client is a nationwide HVAC installation company currently seeking an engineer to work on the warranty, service, and commissioning of their installations.
Commercial Heating Engineer
Qualified to a recognized level (City & Guilds), you will undertake scheduled planned maintenance and reactive requirements, identify repair needs, and submit and undertake quotations for remedial work as necessary.
Provided equipment includes a company van, mobile phone, tablet, and uniform. The sites are nationwide, with approximately 85% located in and around the home counties.
Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, maintaining and repairing all kinds of gas products in a commercial environment.
2. Update legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.
3. Provide job and quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system, which offers live updates to clients.
4. Manage your time and workload effectively, communicating regularly with your manager.
5. Participate in a callout rota after a successful probation period.
Necessary Skills
* Extensive experience in commercial heating systems.
* ACS Qualification.
* Ability to carry out repairs and replacements of plant, fixtures, and fittings.
* Experience in servicing and repairing onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings.
* Organizational skills for housekeeping tasks and arrangements.
* Good communication skills and basic IT understanding.
* Willingness to work overtime regularly to meet contract requirements.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
