SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Experience Design & Research team, made up of Product Designers, a Researcher, and Data Analysts. We’re responsible for modernising and transforming Phillips's digital services and client experience. You’ll be joining a team with a breadth of experience across Design, UX, Research and Analytics. We encourage our team to grow and learn new skills in their discipline. Looking ahead, we are designing and rebuilding numerous applications, rolling out our first design system and enhancing the usability of client-facing services. We need to grow our team to support this mission. As such, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to work alongside our London team; this role will be full-time on a permanent contract.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Primarily, you will be improving our native iOS and Android apps that clients use. This will include working with and contributing to our design system by creating new Ul patterns, components, and interaction paradigms.
2. In addition, you will partner with the team to enhance the interconnected journeys clients take across our website, applications, and auction services. This holistic approach and thinking is crucial in crafting the best user experience.
3. You'll develop a deep understanding of our clients and business needs, mastering the intricacies of auctions and client dynamics along the way.
4. You’ll be presenting work in progress, updates and prototypes to a range of audiences.
5. You’ll be planning and managing your time, tasks and approach to work to ensure that deadlines are met and folks are kept up to date with reliable communication.
6. You’ll be conducting user research independently or in partnership with our Research & Data teams. Creating prototypes and test user experiences.
7. You’ll partner with Product Managers to define how the product works, understand constraints and define future releases.
8. You’ll partner with Engineers to ensure design detail, user experience and accuracy ships to users.
Professional Skills and Experience
9. Demonstrated success in delivering client facing applications, websites and services that improve experience and engagement.
10. Craft - You have a passion for user-centric design, a strong understanding of mobile design principles, and the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
11. Communication - Confidence in presenting. Adapting your message, prototypes and story to your audience. Comfortable with preparing and conducting design workshops.
12. Autonomy - Practiced in taking work on and running with it to a fidelity level where Design Leads can then support you with finalising details and discussing refinement.
13. Culture - Collaboration with our partners and stakeholders across the organisations to grow our understanding of design challenges, technical implementation and business rules.
14. Knowledge - Robust understanding of technical implementation that impacts your design work.
15. A Plus - If you’ve worked in the luxury sector before you will have a head start in understanding the world of our clients needs. This is not essential or required to apply for the role.

16. Our team works remotely and regular in person meetings and working sessions in our office facilities.
