We are looking for a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm.
Important: Please only apply if you have prior experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, and are located in or willing to relocate to the London area.
Key information:
* Experience: 8-12 years.
* Background in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or equivalent is required. Prior corporate development experience is a strong plus.
* Strong financial skills, including advanced analytical abilities and expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Comps).
* Location: London
* Fluent in English
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
* MBA a plus

Key activities:
* Origination: Identify, evaluate, and initiate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
* Deal Execution: Lead financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, and transaction structuring, including post-deal integration.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and engage with senior executives, including the C-suite, to align strategies and execute plans.
* Special Projects: Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and initiatives; develop scalable processes and promote best practices across strategic workstreams.
Note: This is a corporate development role within an investment bank, not a traditional banker role. You will assist the bank in identifying and executing acquisition opportunities to expand its business lines, geographic reach, and capabilities.
