Join the Pride Team as a Procedure Nurse
Deliver gold-standard care in a dynamic, specialist-led environment.
Are you a passionate RVN looking to take the next step in your clinical career? Scarsdale Veterinary Group is seeking a Procedure Nurse to join our dedicated team at Scarsdale Vets at Pride Veterinary Referrals in Derby.
Develop Your Skills in a Supportive, Specialist Environment
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll support high-quality veterinary care across multiple hospital areas. From anaesthesia and inpatient care to assisting with procedures, diagnostics, and imaging, you'll be a key part of our patient journey. You'll also have the opportunity to perform Schedule 3 procedures under veterinary direction, broadening your clinical skills and autonomy. Work with advanced diagnostic tools including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and lab diagnostics, gaining valuable hands-on experience daily.
Additionally, you'll support hospital operations, contributing to stock control, equipment maintenance, and team workflows. We strongly encourage CPD and will support your ongoing development with training.
Work With Leading Facilities and a Specialist Team
Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art hospital includes 13 consultation rooms, 7 wards, 5 theatres, an imaging suite with CT, MRI, digital X-ray, ultrasound rooms, endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool, treadmills, and dedicated chemo treatment rooms.
Join a large, friendly team with extensive clinical knowledge. The scale of our caseload offers continuous development opportunities across various areas of interest, all within a supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
Qualified RVN with at least one year of post-registration experience preferred. Confident working independently and demonstrating strong nursing protocols. Experience in advanced imaging is a plus, but full training will be provided. Additional qualifications are welcome but not essential.

This is a full-time role, averaging 38 hours per week, across four weekdays with a one-in-six weekend rota. Shifts vary between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm, with occasional twilight shifts from 3 pm to 12 am.
