Admin / Despatch Assistant
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Hours:
* Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm
* Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break per day)
Salary: 12.71 per hour
Training: Full training provided
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Admin / Despatch Assistant to support our busy office and despatch operations. This is a varied role combining administrative duties with daily despatch responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Raising Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
* Handling daily despatch activities
* Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with queries professionally
* Responding to customer and internal queries via email
* Carrying out general office administration duties as required
* Supporting Health & Safety administration tasks
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Skills & Experience Required
* Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
* Good standard of English and Maths
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
