Facilities Coordinator
* Hourly Rate: £12.21 PAYE / £15.34 LTD UMB
* Location: Maidenhead
* Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Immediate Start)
We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to play a crucial operational role across council buildings in Maidenhead. This position involves overseeing security, health and safety procedures, managing reception services, and coordinating internal logistics such as courier duties and item transfers. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Soft FM and those holding an SIA licence are particularly welcome.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee security measures and health and safety procedures across various council buildings.
* Manage reception services, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors.
* Coordinate internal logistics, including courier duties and the transfer of items between locations.
* Handle supply ordering and supervise cleaning operations to maintain high standards.
* Arrange venue bookings for various events, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
* Act as a concierge during civic ceremonies and weddings, providing professional support and coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role within Soft FM.
* Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and visitors effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* SIA licence is highly desirable but not mandatory.
