Maintenance Technician Job Ref No: DFP/MT/02/26 Summary of Role: The Maintenance Technician will take responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of production across the site. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all machines within the factory are checked and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations; Completion of all aspects of paperwork which includes daily tasks and service records; Completion of work-on-work pal maintenance package; Engage in the ethos of continuous improvement; Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times. The Person: A minimum of one years experience in a similar role; Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace; Working knowledge and understating of Permit to Work; Be self-motivated and highly organised; Excellent communication skills. Preference will be given to those with: Working in an environment with hot and cold-water systems, high pressure Steam systems and compressor Air systems; The ability to interpret technical drawings; Hold a valid forklift licence/a valid MEWP licence; Prior experience of working in the food industry.
