We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our growing team. This is a key role within the business, responsible for developing high-quality bid submissions that support continued growth and drive innovative solutions across our projects.
Here are just some of the activities that you’ll get involved with…
1. Leading diverse bid teams, that consist of senior executives, internal subject matter experts, specialist subcontractors and designers
2. Acting as the client’s main point of contact
3. Managing all requirements of the submission through to award of contract, including presentation and interview preparation
4. Maintaining a full audit trail throughout the tender process, until formal contract handover
5. Producing a detailed contract handover pack and attending the contract start-up meeting
We would love to hear from you if…
You can demonstrate you have strong and proven experience managing bids within a project-based environment, with a track record of delivering successful submissions across a range of sectors. A solid understanding of the full tender process is essential, including the commercial elements involved in bidding.
You are an effective communicator, confident bringing people together and guiding teams towards a common goal. The ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and remain organised under pressure is key.
A degree or a relevant industry qualification such as APMP, and bring well-developed leadership, coordination and written communication skills are essential. A structured approach, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines will support your success in this role.
