What will your mission and main functions be?
You will ensure that all products processed and dispatched meet quality, food safety and customer specifications, overseeing production and despatch operations, working closely with internal teams and third-party partners, and ensuring effective quality control, hygiene standards, documentation compliance and operational performance.
What will your day-to-day be like?
* Overview of arrivals, production lines and despatch, ensuring products are correctly packed and within specification.
* Close collaboration with Online QC and Line Leaders to maintain quality standards and manage grade outs.
* Managing workload according to daily orders.
* Monitoring shelf-life, customer samples and carrying out associated testing.
* Completing all required documentation in compliance with internal and customer requirements.
* Ensuring excellent levels of hygiene and food safety standards.
* Working closely with on-site Management and third-party Management teams.
* Monitoring productivity of Production Operatives, providing training, support and feedback to improve performance at third-party packing operations.
* Providing quality feedback to Management teams and Customers.
* Following up on rejections, carrying out investigations and completing any related documentation.
Requirements:
What are the requirements for this position?
* Previous experience in a fresh produce environment with responsibility for monitoring product quality (highly valued).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good understanding of health & safety protocols and food hygiene standards.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Proactive, flexible and dynamic attitude, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, respecting diversity and different perspectives.
* Basic understanding of stock control systems.
* Computer skills: Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus.
Languages
* English: High level.
* Spanish: an advantage, but not essential.
* Eastern European languages: an advantage, but not essential.

* Working days: Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, mainly though flexible for the bust period.
