Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Colchester and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £95–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time only

We’re working with a number of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Colchester who are on the lookout for talented Higher Level Teaching Assistants. If you’re someone who loves variety, thrives when leading learning, and can bring calm confidence to any classroom - you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting teachers and stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons when needed
* Running interventions and small-group sessions to support progress
* Working closely with pupils who need additional support, including those with SEND
* Bringing flexibility, positivity, and initiative to every school day
* Being a valued part of the wider school team
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds an HLTA qualification or has equivalent classroom experience
* Is comfortable leading learning and managing a class when required
* Has a good grasp of the curriculum and strong communication skills
* Is proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
* Loves supporting students and helping them succeed
