Our school vision statement of ‘Being the best we can be for ourselves, for others and for God's world’ is woven through all aspects of school life, where opportunities for children are maximised, staff wellbeing and development are prioritised and nurturing relationships provide a safe space within which to learn and grow. We want to appoint staff who share our Christian ethos, are passionate about learning and understand the importance that relationships play in creating a safe, secure and inspirational learning environment.
We are looking to appoint a fantastic teaching assistant into our team, to start as soon as possible. This role is to support individuals and small groups of children to learn and provide general support to the teacher leading learning in the classroom.
Experience of supporting children with additional needs would be desirable but is not essential as training and support will be offered as part of your induction.
Our TAs are also required to take on half an hour’s mealtime assistant duties each day as we believe it is good to have adults who know the children well supporting them to have safe and happy lunchtimes.
Visits to the school would be welcomed and can be arranged via the school office: 01404 515409.
