About The Team
I'm working with a rapidly growing MSP with a thriving service desk team of 45 professionals. As they continue to expand, they're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join their technical team and take ownership of their most complex challenges.
The Role
As the 3rd Line Engineer, you'll be the technical expert and escalation point for the 2nd line team. This is a varied role where you'll split your time between resolving complex technical issues and delivering exciting client projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues from the 2nd line team
* Conduct in-depth technical investigations and implement sophisticated solutions
* Lead and participate in client-facing projects and infrastructure implementations
* Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a 3rd line or senior technical support role
* Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to complex issues
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with both technical teams and clients
* Experience working on IT projects and infrastructure deployments
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
