Job Details
The shift pattern for these posts is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
Vacancies
We are offering two permanent Band 7 positions (37 and 22.2 hours) for CBT Therapists or CAAPs within the Psychological Therapies Groups Service. This service provides evidence-based group psychological therapies to individuals receiving secondary care mental health services across NHS GG&C. Currently, all sessions are delivered via video consultation.
You will work within a team of Clinical Psychologists, psychological therapists, assistant psychologists, and administrative staff. Your responsibilities include delivering group therapies, contributing to service development and evaluation, and providing supervised placements to trainees. You will be line managed by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Team Lead and supervised by a Clinical Psychologist.
Candidate Requirements
You should be a Psychology graduate with a postgraduate Masters degree eligible to work as a CAAP in NHS Scotland, or a registered professional (such as Nurse, OT, or Social Worker) with a postgraduate diploma in CBT from an BABCP-accredited course. Experience in adult mental health through training and ideally post-qualification is preferred. Newly qualified candidates or those nearing completion of their training are encouraged to apply.
